Here's a closer look at San Francisco's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated San Francisco venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings and more.

Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport
In January, Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation that transformed the hotel’s 316 rooms and public space, including its 7,000-square-foot atrium and restaurant. The new look for the two-room suites includes vibrant colors and art inspired by the local landscape, plus there's a separate space for working or entertaining. Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport boasts more than 12,000 square feet of total event space, including a 3,672-square-foot ballroom that accommodates as many as 500 guests for receptions.

New Belgium Brewing
This week, San Francisco is welcoming New Belgium Brewing, a taproom and full-service restaurant located in the Mission Bay neighborhood near both the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors' stadiums. Host up to 110 guests in the indoor space, which offers high ceilings, drawn murals and industrial details. Outside, host up to 60 seated guests on the patio overlooking the canal.

La Quinta by Wyndham Santa Rosa Sonoma
Since its opening in September, La Quinta by Wyndham has been the place to stay in Santa Rosa. The property features 100 rooms located near the wine country in Sonoma and open-flow common areas including a lounge and wine tasting bar outfitted with leather furniture and warm woods. Outside, find a heated pool and hot tub.

The Domain Hotel
The Domain Hotel in Silicon Valley wrapped up a million-dollar renovation in 2020, giving a new look to the hotel's 136 rooms and public spaces, including a new lobby bar, outdoor pool and fitness center. The redesign's theme is California Fresh, courtesy of Design Atelier, which has translated to a blue and gray color palette with bursts of poppy orange (inspired by the state's official flower). The hotel offers nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space. The divisible Quantum meeting room spans 3,888 square feet for up to 350 guests theater style or 250 for seated banquets. The 2,275-square-foot Peak room (shown here) can accommodate 200 theater style or 100 classroom style.

The Grand Hotel Sunnyvale
In Silicon Valley, The Grand Hotel Sunnyvale is adding a 60,000-square-foot addition that spans four floors and includes 1,100 square feet of meeting space. In addition to 51 new guest rooms, the $25 million annex offers a new 600-square-foot and 500-square-foot meeting room. Together, these spaces accommodate 40 guests at roundtables, 30 in a U setup and up to 80 for a theater- or reception-style event. The hotel's expansion will be completed in June.
