Palms Casino Resort

After closing in 2020 and undergoing a massive $600 million renovation, the Palms Casino Resort reopened in late April. Updates include a refreshed casino floor with a new slot and table game layout—a pod-like format that allows guests to play alongside friends rather than at rows of machines—plus a new rewards program. The property’s 14 movie theaters have also been renovated to add reclining seats, a new lobby, and wall murals from local graffiti artists. The updated, multi-level pool area (pictured) spans 73,000 square feet and offers a variety of eight-person cabanas for small events. Other gathering spaces include a variety of meeting rooms, the top-floor Moon View room with a retractable roof, and the elegant Nove room with Swarovski chandeliers. Additional spaces, including the Pearl Theater, are expected to reopen this summer. And don’t worry, the property’s nine experiential suites—which range from rooms with private bowling alleys and basketball courts to one with its own movie theater—have remained in place and are available for events.
