For event marketers, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is activation heaven. BizBash was on-site during this year's festival—held June 20-24 in the south of France—with an activation of its own aboard a yacht, produced in partnership with event technology solution Hubilo. Dubbed the Hubilo Retreat, the yacht also served as our podcast recording studio. Over the course of the festival, GatherGeeks host and BizBash chairman David Adler and BizBash senior contributing editor Claire Hoffman interviewed the top event execs at Meta, Spotify, and Pinterest to break down the strategy and execution of their respective activations, plus how they're using live events to propel reach and engagement.
